有關瘋祭舞台

瘋祭舞台是本地多媒體戲劇創作人何應豐在 1996 年 5 月創辦的藝術團體，並一直由何氏擔任藝術監督。近年開始，劇團的藝術取向，將舞台創作分別以多國度的藝術視野作文化拓展，除主線以發展本地原創作品的「瘋祭舞台作品系列」外，先後有以青年專業戲劇家為主的「青年戲劇家系列」、以即興形式審視社會時弊及世界動態的「社會開放（封閉）劇場系列」、和以多媒體藝術作渡橋、培育新一代自省觸覺的「『一鼓作戲』青少年創意工作坊系列」。由二零零八年開始，將增加「瘋祭伙伴創作系列」，邀請不同創作人或獨立團體作實驗性合作計劃，今年將與前中英劇團演員孫惠芳重新走上《尋找貝克特快樂的日子》

自開團以來「瘋祭舞台作品系列」致力以本地文化、歷史及社會變遷為根基，揉合古今中外文化經驗，引伸至多角度的藝術創作，並以獨特的舞台表演語言、風格和方向，反照香港面對新世紀的意態「瘋」情和景況。過去十年，作品的焦點風格存放在「舞台詩」和「完全劇場」的磨練和營造。多部作品曾先後獲邀在東京、北京及台灣等地演出。曾演出之作品計有《元州街茱莉小姐不再在這裏》、《蝴蝶夢》、《鄭和的後代》、《中環廣場上的野餐》、《石水渠街 72 號的一片藍》、《母親》、《撒尿的代價》、多媒體音樂劇場《大路西遊》、2003年中國傳奇藝術節《七重天》、在牛棚小劇場作品《蕪湖街上好風光》、2006年「新視野藝術節」探討當代香港教師夢魘的《曝／光》，和月前2007年探索程翔事件的「夢幻劇」《過‧渡》等。

二零零二年十二月才開始的「瘋祭舞台社會開放（封閉）劇場系列」，教不少非慣常看戲的觀眾份外興奮。不但得到理工大學應用社會科學系助理教授何國良博士及香港藝術中心的鼎力協作，更以「零資本」的姿態，積極開拓本土以即興劇場作社會及文化行動的新意義。已先後推出的計有《第廿三戒》、《第廿三戒 II ：我愛我生活》、《給董先生的信 I 》、《給董先生的信 II ：在非典型街道穿梭的日子》、《四方慌．六載狂》特區回憶錄上下集、《站在李國章戰線的邊緣外望》、《香港後現代愛生事家庭實錄 1 之「欺凌事件簿」》和《西九直擊》。

二零零二年首辦的「瘋祭舞台青年戲劇家系列」，選演了年青編劇黃詠詩（最近獲電影金紫荊獎最佳編劇獎）的新作《剖你一個措手不及》，觀眾及劇界反應熱切。零四年三月在西灣河文娛中心推出此系列之二火火編劇的《花開風來 2 》，由另一群新進青年戲劇家集體創作。近作推出系列三之《如廁》，介紹青年文學獎編劇依奧的三個與廁所有關的短劇。

自二千年新紀元開始，瘋祭舞台早已積極為青少年、社工和教師策劃及舉辦多媒體創意工作坊及講座，更設計了一個名為「瘋祭舞台『一鼓作戲』青少年創意工作坊系列」的青年教育計劃，連續多年獲教育界與社會服務界熱切支持。獲邀策劃的團體計有康樂及文化事務署、教育署、香港教育學院、小童群益會、香港善導會和東華三院利東村青少年綜合服務中心等。其中包括：葵青劇院藝術家駐場計劃之《我為我鼓舞》、國際演藝合家歡的《假如我是真的》與《其實我是真的》、與香港小童群益會合作的《尋找空間地圖》和《「情」程「色」式》、東華三院利東青少年綜合服務合作的《跨越隱形峽》及與香港善導會合作的《我有我拼圖》等。二零零三年承接一系列青年工作的經驗，給一群年青人創作一齣屬於他們的音樂劇《不再哭泣》，更獲「 2003 香港國際嘉年華」邀請演出。

二零零三年瘋祭舞台被康樂及文化事務署委任為社區文化大使，以「『一鼓作戲』青少年創意工作坊系列」的培訓理念為藍本，為港九及新界共十區的青少年作文化導航，以地區文化為根，拓展成一個命名為《重整香港新版圖》的多媒體展覽及表演項目，二○○四年四月在維多利亞公園以迷宮式「開放創作營」總結及分享經驗。是劇團一次以「藝術行動」鼓勵「社區行動」的重要體驗。近作為上環文娛中心駐場藝術家 2005/06 籌劃一鼓作戲 5之《打開你的通識五臟廟》。

二零零七年，與香港善導會展開《重整香港新版圖2》之「維港六面觀」，為康文署的「文化大使計劃」開拓社區藝術發展的新經驗。

劇團在過去多年推展連串出版計劃，繼已由國際藝評家協會（香港分會）出版的瘋祭舞台胡思亂想集之《抽思：一齣舞台劇誕生的遊戈異象》、《戲言：音樂劇七重天創作的思前想後》和《此間：舞台劇蕪湖街上好風光創作旅途上的無煙記錄》外，最近重新出版的《瘋祭圖譜》（修訂本）介紹何應豐的完全戲劇觀。零四年以《心曲：從青少年劇場寄出的三十六封信》為青年音樂劇《不再哭泣》撰寫書信錄。即將推新書計有《曝／光：與一群藝行者回望的路上再出發》，介紹一系列本地獨立創作人的故事，繼續以多元空間給觀眾拓展文化新視野、《過渡：一齣發生在監牢裡外的小丑戲》和總結瘋祭舞台過去拓展社區工作經驗的《版圖：以藝術行動拓展社會行動的多聲道探索》等。

All about Theatre Fanatico

Theatre Fanatico is a non-profit making independent theatre company founded in 1996 by Hoyingfung, who has also been the Company's artistic director till now. The Company works consist of 4 streams of creative endeavor: Fanatico Drama Series, Fanatico Young Professional Series, Fanatico Impromptu Series and Drumming Voices Youth Creative Workshop Series. In 2008, the Company is about to open one more stream: Fanatico Partnership Scheme, a plan to invite independent artists and independent performing art body to work together on an experiemental platform.

Fanatico Drama Series:
This is the main body of creative works maintained by The Company throughout the years. All works concern with the changing socio-political phenomena in Hong Kong. Most of them were original works created by Hoyingfung (with the exception of two) along side with guests artists, including renowned composers like Law Wing Fai, John Chen and Roger Lin, lighting designer Leo Cheung, and production manager Frank Yeung, stage performers like Ng Wai-shek, Olivia Yan, Antoinette Mak, Popo Tso, Priscilla Leung, Chan Ming-long, Yeung Sze-mun, Melissa Leung, E-run, Hoi Chiu, Yuen Jie, William Chan and Shaw Mei-kwan, etc., film artists like Elaine Jin, Jossie Ho, Li Chan-sum.

"Heading West" (a music theatre inspired by the Chinese Classical Novel "Journey to the West")
"The Seventh Drawer" (a portraiture of a Chinese family saga of the 20th Century)
"Springtime at Wuhu Street"(a semi-docu-drama based on true stories told by performers)
"Exposed/Still Burning" (a dramatic poem commissioned by 2006 New Vision Arts Festival)
"The Crossing/Painting Silence" (a dream play exploring the absurdity behind imprisonment of dissidents)

Young Professional Series:
This is a series aiming to provide alternative professional training for young artists who were aspired to be professional theatre artists. The focus would include playwrighting, directing, designing, performing and stage management.

Fanatico Impromptu Series:
This is a series collaborated with Dr. Ho Kwok Leung, an associate professor on social science. It set out to produce improvisational work in responding to contemporary social issues. Based on different corresponding issues, guest artists, scholars, journalists, photographers and citizens from all sectors would be invited to perform and express their opinion through impromptu, with situation each time set up by Hoyingfung an hour prior to the performance. All performances were working on a zero production budget. intended to be open and free for all. So far the Company has been fortunate to gain the support from the Hong Kong Arts Centre for all the performances created for this series.

Drumming Voices Youth Creative Workshop:
This is a series mainly designed for young people to develop their sense of self action through interplays with theatre and arts. It isn't meant to train young artists, but rather use art as a tool for progressive social work for the young and needed. So far, it has gained fairly wide support both from the government sectors and social organizations, including Leisure and Cultural Services Department of Hong Kong, the International Arts Carnival, the Boys' and Girls' Club Association of Hong Kong, the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Integrated Service Centres for Young People, The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong, etc.

何應豐

美國侯斯頓大學戲劇系文學士及藝術碩士。香港資深多媒體表演藝術創作人，崗位包括編劇、導演、舞台／服裝／燈光／聲音設計、錄像、翻譯及監製，曾參與的舞台創作超過一百三十多部，作品類型包括話劇、無言劇、視覺詩劇、舞劇、戲曲、歌劇、中國舞、現代舞、芭蕾舞及多媒體創作。其作品曾先後在侯斯頓、多倫多、愛丁堡、布拉格、布魯塞爾、北京、上海、廣州、杭州、東京、首爾、台北、新加坡、馬尼拉、塔什干、澳門等十六個城市發表，並多次獲得香港及國際戲劇獎項。何氏曾於1993年與鄧樹榮創辦剛劇場（1993-1995），於1995年創立瘋祭舞台，並為該團的藝術監督至今，導演作品曾先後在各大小藝術節中獲邀參展演出，包括1993年愛丁堡藝穗節，塔什干戲劇節、1997年東京愛麗絲戲劇節、1998年中國青年藝術劇院小劇場展、1999年台灣小亞細亞網絡及香港葵青劇院開幕節慶、2000年香港藝術節、2003年中國傳奇藝術節、2006年新視野藝術節等。國際演藝評論家協會（香港分會）曾出版一本有關何氏的作品及評論集《瘋祭圖譜──何應豐的完全劇場觀》（修訂本）。何氏近年致力寫作，曾先後出版多本戲劇創作書籍，包括《抽思》、《心曲》、《戲言》、《此間》，二零零八年將出版《曝光》和《過渡》兩本新書。何氏曾擔任2007年第六屆國際戲劇教育會世界會議的榮譽顧問。現為香港藝術發展局戲劇顧問、香港康樂及文化事務署舞蹈及多媒體藝術顧問團主席和藝術節顧問委員。

Hoyingfung is the founder and Artistic Director of the Theatre Fanatico. As a multi-media and cross-disciplinary performance arts creator, he has been working as a playwright, theatre director, designer (set, costume and lighting), videographer, translator and producer. He has participated in over 130 stage productions, including drama, experimental theatre, theatre of visual poetry, opera, Chinese opera, Chinese dance, contemporary dance and ballet. His works were presented in more than 13 countries and had won critical acclaims and awards at home and aboard.

His important works include directing, writing and designing "The Miss Julie Trilogy" (a 3-part exploration of Hong Kong's reunification to the Mainland), "Dreaming Plum Blossom Away" (an original opera production), "Heading West" and "The Seventh Drawer" (music theatre).

As a writer, he has published a number of books on theatre arts, including "Thoughts on Heading West," "Songs of Hearts: 36 Letters to Youngsters," " Words of Play: Looking Beyond The Seventh Drawer," and "Here & Now: A smokeless journey into Springtime at Wuhu Street". Later this year, The International Association of Theatre Critics (Hong Kong) will publish the second edition of "Iconography of Theatre Fanatico: The Totality of Hoyingfung", a book on Hoyingfung's work and a collection of critical essays.

As a culture worker, he has been actively engaging in a long series of projects related to art-in-education and art-in-social-work in the past 12 years. He is at present working on a research on community performance through the arts.
